Venroy take the plunge with Magento 2.0

The Aussie men’s swimwear brand last week became the world’s first ecommerce website to launch on Magento 2.0 – and they’re already seeing some amazing results.

“We needed to fundamentally change the way that customers would interact with our product,” said the founders of Venroy. So it’s no surprise that this innovative brand launched their new website on Magento 2.0, the latest version of the world’s fastest growing ecommerce platform.

Magento 2.0 was announced at Magento Live Australia, giving Venroy the opportunity to be an early adopter among their Aussie ecommerce peers.

The new and user-friendly release of the platform offers complete flexibility and control over the look, content and functionality of their online store. It was therefore the logical choice for Venroy, who openly admit having limited ecommerce experience.

Venroy’s ecommerce agency, Netstarter, recommended dotmailer as the ideal marketing automation platform for the brand. And thanks to the efforts of our dedicated Magento developers, the dotmailer integration was Magento 2.0-ready – we’re proud of you guys!

For Venroy this means the enhanced Magento 2.0, coupled with the ease of use of the dotmailer platform, is a winning formula. And the numbers are certainly already showing it:

  • Site conversion rates are up by 37%
  • And mobile conversion rates are up by a further 80%
