Today marks the start of MagentoLive Australia. And while details of the long-anticipated Magento 2 release are set to be revealed at the conference, we’ve too got an exciting announcement to make.

What could it be, we hear you ask? Well…

dotmailer has become Magento’s first and only marketing platform to achieve global Platinum Technology Partner status. (Yeah, we’re pretty happy). See the announcement on Magento’s website.

Magento has recognized our email marketing automation platform to be the perfect fit for ecommerce merchants wanting to bring their businesses into the future.

Or, as Mark Lavelle, Magento Commerce’s new CEO, put it: “dotdigital, and the dotmailer platform, is in complete alignment with Magento’s strategy to enable retailers to extend Magento with the most advanced capabilities provided by our partners.”

The award didn’t come without a rigorous audit process, which includes strict standards and guidelines to validate the quality of our product. But we have had our own dedicated team of Magento-certified developers for a number of years.

What’s next for dotmailer and Magento?

We’re obviously delighted about the news, along with our CEO, Simone Barratt: “This partnership, combined with the ease-of-use of the dotmailer platform, puts the power in the hands of online retailers to unlock an unparalleled level of marketing insight, ensuring a personalized and optimized journey for every customer”.
