New Mobile Email Marketing Research

New mobile email marketing research from dotdigital is in. It shows that 48% of consumers like to receive special offers and promotions on mobile.

We’ve just completed a study into email consumers mobile use and how this affects email marketers.

The lowdown? Two thirds people check emails on smartphones. A large proportion want to receive offers and promotions direct to their phone..

However, retailers are scoring poorly in this area. This is because of poor coding best practice, non-optimised landing pages and missing the three golden rules of mobile email marketing: simplicity, clarity and accessibility.

The report will be published in July (register here for your free copy on release) . However, you can get a preview of some of the results in Skip Fidura’s presentation from the Online Marketing Show 2012.
