Mind Your Language! Why DotMailer Is A Polyglot…

dotMailer has clients in 156 countries, including a major international logistics company, Ikea Russia and Al Jazeera.

So when it comes to international email delivery, dotMailer needs to be able to speak your language, whatever language you send your emails out in.  And it does.

For “alphabet”, read: الأبجدية, алфавит, and 字母.

Many of dotMailer’s international and overseas users send in different alphabets from the one you’re reading this blog in. So for “alphabet”, read: الأبجدية, алфавит, and 字母.

In fact, we have customers sending their emails in pretty much any major language you’d care to mention. Languages that read from left to right or right to left. None of this is a problem in dotMailer.

So how does it all work?

With the greatest of ease, naturally – like you always expect from dotMailer.

dotMailer campaigns are automatically saved and sent in something called UTF-8. This is a universal standard for representing any character, in any language. The post you’re reading now is using it. Your smartphone is probably using it too. It’s universally supported, and already has over 1.1 million characters in it.

So whether you’re writing in Russian, Chinese, Thai, Korean, Swahili, Amharic – or just want to show some seasonal characters, you can send it through dotMailer.

If you’re a dotMailer reseller with a customer who needs a bespoke non-UTF8 character set – that’s no problem. We can add anything you need on-demand, and you can reconfigure any campaign.

All of which means you can be confident that wherever you need to deliver mail to, dotMailer the polyglot can do it.
