First Class Accreditation For DotDigital

Best Companies Award 2012Always striving to do the best for our employees, dotDigital decided to put our efforts to the test by entering the Best Companies award, with a First Class result.

With the rapid expansion of the business and growth of 637% over the past 5 years, everyone at dotDigital is keen to ensure we remain an awesome place to work; so with that in mind we entered the Best Companies Award.

What is accreditation?

Best Companies (who manage the Times 100 competition) was established with vision to identify the drivers of sustainable business performance by measure levels of ‘Workplace Engagement’ within organisations.

The accreditation is judged on index scores and star ratings compared to a fixed standard (like the Michelin stars) for companies that demonstrate high levels of employee engagement.

The results

As an extra incentive to complete the questionnaire we donated £10 to Macmillan for each, reaching 80% also saw the donation of an additional £500 by the board; raising a grand total of £1,470.

Peter Simmonds states “Being one of the very few, elite organisations to carry the
First Class Accreditation logo is great for morale and employee satisfaction. And to be published on the ‘Best Companies Guide’ website and job board with our Best Companies Index score and star rating, we hope will continue to bring the best people in the industry to our door.”

This process has enabled us to learn an awful lot about what we’ve got that’s good, what can be improved and what we’re missing!   Ultimately this is about improving the working life of all our staff….. To find out our lastest vacancies click here
