Filtering Out The Fake Filters!

As someone with way too many different email accounts and a vested interest in all email marketing I am usually comforted by the knowledge that the spam filters on my inbox are working to protect me.

That however is not always the case. Our deliverability partners, Return Path, have reported that Spamhaus recently discovered a fake spam filter company which has been pirating and selling data from major anti-spam filters.

Spamhaus continues to work to protect data and email inboxes and at dotMailer we require all our email marketing clients to abide by Spamhaus rules as part of our T&Cs.

dotMailer clients can also apply for Return Path Certified sending –  a delivery guarantee certification programme for B2C email marketers who’s databases and sending programmes are fully opted in and compliant with Return Path’s strict high standards.
