dotMailer: Officially GREAT, according to UKTI, Prince Harry and The Prime Minister…

On October 2nd, the winners of the GREAT Tech Awards were announced during a tech gala at The McKittrick Hotel in New York City – and dotMailer made the final three shortlist for the ‘Advisor’s Choice Award’.

Technology is GREATThe awards are an international technology competition celebrating the best of UK and US technology start-ups, hosted by UK Trade & Investment. They were announced by the Prime Minister David Cameron in New York in September 2012 and the competition opened in May 2013 with me being invited to join Prince Harry & Prime Minister David Cameron as part of a visit to New York showcasing British Innovation.

We are delighted that in only a short time of having opened our New York office we have been recognised in this way by UKTI and the judges. I went along to the awards ceremony, a fantastic showcase of British-American business.

“We are thrilled by the number of quality applications from the British companies based in New York,” said Patricia Young, Vice Consul for Information Communication and Technology at UK Trade & Investment.

Outside party scene“Our tech team at UKTI was impressed with the number of British companies that demonstrated the potential business growth in the US, such as dotMailer, that ranked within the top three for the Advisors’ Choice Awards category. The UK finalists are a GREAT representation of the innovation that is coming out of the UK, and we hope to continue to work with all the applicants to help them grow in the New York and wider US market.” Photos from the event are hosted here on Facebook
