dotMailer heads to Internet World 2014 and London Tech Week

Another batch of trade show appearances beckon for the dotMailer team. Approaching swiftly is London Technology Week (16-20 June) and its centrepiece event, Internet World (17-19 June, ExCeL London).

After a number of years bubbling under the surface, London’s tech scene is slowly beginning to explode. London Technology Week is the city’s first such event. With over a hundred events set across the sprawling capital, it’s set to be one of the biggest showcases of its kind. Holding the show together along with founding partner Tech London Advocates, is one of dotMailer’s clients, London & Partners – an exciting public private partnership that looks to drive global business to the region. One of our highlights of the week is the Tech Transformation Forum – a veritable feast of C-Suite level thought-leadership in Tech, with speakers from Intel, Forrester Research, John Lewis and Barclays. More information and registration details are available here.

What You Really Want to See

Smack bang in the middle of the London Tech Week is Internet World 2014, an expansive event that draws together thousands of Global tech and digital marketing professionals. As well as the usual marketplace of tech suppliers are a whole bunch of Keynotes, debates and practical workshops.

Among them is our very own Client Services Director and DMA Email Marketing Council Chair, Skip Fidura. Our big story on the trade show circuit this year, is how marketers can bring humanity back to digital retail. This is a theme that has resonated deeply with marketers across all retail sectors – a talk not to be missed.

For a little taster of what you can expect from Skip, check out his presentation from this year’s Internet Retailing Expo, delivered to a packed house.

Head over to Skip’s presentation at The Digital Marketing Theatre at 16.00 on Tuesday 17 June. For more information on the session, event registration and to reserve a session seat head over to Internet World.

Some of the presentations we’re looking forward to, include:

  • Clients Dulux and Oakley Mobile talking about their innovations in augmented reality
  • A big panel on ‘automation in the cloud’ with DataIQ, IBM and BT
  • CMS org, Ektron will be talking about how to capitalise on mobile
  • Tesco, presenting a case study on how they’ve innovated in the digital retail space
