DotDigital Group Announces 44% Growth

DDG_plcdotDigital Group – the parent company of dotMailer, dotCommerce, dotAgency and dotSEO – announced interim results yesterday.

Highlights for the six months ending 31 December 2009 included revenue growth of 44%, net profit growth of 28% and a net cash balance increase of 95%.

Notably, we also celebrated winning the National Business Award for Best Growth Strategy, in September 2009.

During the period we continued our strategy of growing the dotMailer email marketing customer base (an increase of 25% for the 6 months).

Whilst email marketing remains the largest revenue stream in the Group, the second half of 2009 saw the launch of dotSEO, our search marketing business unit which offers SEO agency services and PPC management.

dotCommerce, our ecommerce solutions business unit, has continued to strengthen with significant new customer wins and extensive product development and investment.

Our Chief Executive Peter Simmonds said “Demand for digital marketing continues to remain strong and dotDigital is well placed to meet clients’ requirements. Planned product enhancements due for release in 2010 will ensure we remain at the leading edge of the market”.
